- This acquisition will be a HUBZone small business set aside. This Non-Commercial acquisition is for a Firm Fixed Price purchase of NSN: 4920-00-591-6975RN. The item is a Maintenance Stand, P/N: 21C5270G01. The aircraft engine maintenance stand holds the TF34-GE-100A Engine when it is removed from the aircraft. The stand mounts onto the trailers used to move the TF-34 engines to and from the maintenance area. The item dimensions are 70 in (L) x 58 in (W) x 38 in (H), weighing 325 lbs. This acquisition is for a quantity of 15 each. Surplus material is acceptable in the following categories: Government Surplus of new/unused and new/reconditioned; Commercial Surplus of new/unused and new/reconditioned. The delivery schedule will be 180 days after receipt of order, with multiple points of destination. This item is export controlled. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit, and detailed instructions contained in the RFP. The Government will evaluate past performance utilizing the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS), and other sources of data as will be stated in the RFP. Proposals will be evaluated and award made in accordance with the evaluation criteria stated in the RFP. OFFERORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REVIEW RATINGS IN PPIRS FOR ACCURACY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 1 August 2011 with the approximate response date of 31 August 2011. The RFP will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities webpage only (www.fedbizopps.gov). The technical data required to respond to the RFP will be available at www.fedbizopps.gov. Only businesses that have been certified by the Department of Defense, United States/Canada Joint Certification Office, and have a valid requirement may access the data.
