Description

This pre-solicitation notice is for the purpose of informing industry that this solicitation is scheduled to be posted to FBO o/a 12 August 2011 for Fire/Intrusion Alarm Monitoring Services, Dept of Veteran's Affairs VISN 21, VAPIHCS-Neighboring Islands (various facilities in HI) IAW the Statement of Work (which will be available in the solicitation). Contractor shall furnish all necessary management, supervision, labor, tools, equipment, material, supplies and consumables to provide fire/intrusion alarm services on a monthly, quarterly basis and installation services for new equipment as needed. The anticipated start date is 1 October 2011. The award will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The proposed performance period is a base year of 12 months beginning 01 October 2011 thru 30 September 2012 with four (4) one (1) year option periods. Anticipated award date is October 1, 2011. This acquisition is initially a 100% Total Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside, with a primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) of 561621 and a related small business size standard of $12.5 Million. All interested Veteran Owned Small Businesses are reminded that they should be registered in the Vetbiz database and be CVE certified (mandatory effective 1 Jan 2012). This notice is not a request for proposals and proposals received as a result of this pre-solicitation notice will not be accepted or evaluated.
