Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs National Cemetery Administration Construction Support Division has a requirement for Mini-Minor Construction Project # 11-028, Standby Generator, at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery, 7601 34th Avenue, South, Minneapolis, MN 55450. Contractor shall provide all supervision, permits, labor, tools, materials and equipment necessary to provide and install new standby generator system in accordance with the statement of work and project specifications. Work shall include, but not limited to, completely prepare site for installation of a new trailer-mounted stand-by diesel fuel generator, generator receptacle, circuit breaker and exterior-mounted manual transfer switch as required by the drawings and specifications, and shall include interior electrical work and terminations in existing equipment. The estimated construction price is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. A 20% Bid Bond must be submitted with your bid if it exceeds $100,000. THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SET ASIDE TO SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB). CONTRACTORS. NOTE: At least 25 percent of the total labor costs for this contract must be spent on the concern's employees or the employees of other service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns. The number of employees must be reflected correctly in Contractor Central Registration (CCR) and Dun and Bradstreet reports. SDVOSB contractors must be verified in VETBIZ (www.vip.vettbiz.gov) prior to award of any contract. Contractors must register at www.ccr.gov; https://orca.bpn.gov; and https://vets100.vets.dol.gov to be eligible for award. ORCA must reflect a small business size certification for the NAICS code noted herein. All registrations must be up-to-date and correct. The North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 237990 with the small business size standard of $33.5 million. Solicitation VA-786A-11-IB-0079 is to be posted on FEDBIZOPPS website (www.fedbizopps.gov) o/a August 1, 2011. Paper solicitation will not be issued. Contractors must obtain solicitation and amendments (if issued) from this website. Bidders are reminded they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to the solicitation prior to time for bid opening or with their sealed bid.
