- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. In preparation for a future procurement, the 673rd Contracting Squadron on Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson is performing market research to determine potential businesses (including small businesses, 8(a) firms, HUBZones, and small disabled veteran owned) that can provide the following Audio Visual Equipment for 3AMXS/MXAX. The applicable NAICS code is 334310, Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing with a size limitation standard of 750 employees. SITE VISIT: Interested companies that can meet the requirement stated above should plan on attending a Site Visit scheduled for 9:00 am, 19 Jul 2011. Vendors are encouraged to bring their Preferred Product Portfolios and Suggestions for Technology. All contractors interested in attending the site visit will need to contact Laura Drew at: laura.drew@elmendorf.af.mil or 907-552-7174, No Later Than 12:00 noon, 18 July, 2011. 2nd SITE VISIT: A second Site Visit is scheduled for 9:00 am, 22 Jul 2011. Again, vendors are encouraged to bring their Preferred Product Portfolios and Suggestions for Technology. All contractors interested in attending this site visit will need to contact Laura Drew at: laura.drew@elmendorf.af.mil or 907-552-7174, No Later Than 12:00 noon 21 July, 2011. Also, firms should provide their business size status in accordance with the small business administration website (www.sba.gov) for the above referenced NAICS code they fall within (i.e. Small Businesses, 8(a) firms, HUBZones, Small Disabled Veteran-Owned businesses, etc.) Description for Building 9694: FIRST FLOOR: 1) Four workspaces each requiring wall mounted LCD TV's. Pre-wired for power and cable. SECOND FLOOR: 1) Large conference room (60 people) requiring Video Teleconference, presentation, and video capability utilizing large format screen and projector, automation for video and lighting control. Government provided computer hardware. Pre-wired for power. 2) Small conference room (12 people) requiring professional touch LCD display with computer and video capability. Government provided computer hardware. Pre-wired for power and cable. 3) Operations Desk requiring three long-life LCD displays. Pre-wired for power and cable. 4) Operations scheduling workspace requiring two professional touch LCD presentation displays. Government provided computer hardware. Pre-wired for power. 5) Three workspaces each requiring installation of government provided LCD displays. Cable wiring required. 6) Heritage gathering room requiring large format cinema quality audio and video capability with multiple sources, automation, and acoustical treatment. THIRD FLOOR: 1) Seven briefing spaces each requiring installation of Government provided smartboard, projector and LCD display. Government provided computer hardware. Pre-wired for power and Video. 2) One briefing space requiring LCD presentation display, smartboard and projector. Government provided computer hardware. Pre-wired for power. 3) One workspace requiring long-life LCD display. Pre-wired for power and cable. 4) Three audio receivers/ internet radio sources for whole floor zone audio. Existing in-ceiling speakers and pre-wired for power. 5) Small gym requiring LCD display, audio and video capability with multiple sources. 6) Large theater (100 person) requiring secure video teleconference capability, cinema quality audio and video from multiple sources simultaneously displayed, acoustical treatment and Non-RF automation controls.
