- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to the National Transportation Training Directors (NTTD) for the Co-Sponsorship and conference to organize and train leaders of state departments of transportation. The conference participants will engage and participate in sessions that will improve the development and delivery of technical and organizational training. Additionally, the conference will share technology and materials, exchange information, products, and services among state transportation training directors. Also, NTTD The annual conference is a forum for enhancing training skills of those involved in transportation training. NTTD is the only source who has developed and presents the training. All responsible sources may submit a response identifying their interest and capability to respond to their requirement. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the total estimated value is not to exceed $20,000; the anticipated award date is July 28, 2011.
