- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to the University of California at Berkley (UCB) for Modeling Needs for Active Transportation and Demand Management conference for a Co-Sponsorship. The conference will provide workshops to include a compendium of presentations for a synthesis report on International experts in the field of traffic congestion and flow theory. Additionally, the conference will identify gaps and current methods of analysis with regard to modeling tools that are active with the Active Transportation and Demand Management (ATDM). The conference will also conduct discussions on the ongoing developments and advances in the United States and internationally in terms of the models and applications that are related to the ATDM. Because UCB is coordinating their own conference, providing their own facilities, conference coordinators and all logistical related matters they are the only source for their conference. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date is August 2, 2011.
