Description
The Lake States Acquisition Team announces an opportunity for the construction/repair on the Black River Harbor CIP project. This acquisition is set-aside for Hub-Zone Small Businesses. In accordance with FAR Part 36.204(c), the estimated magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990. The Small Business Administration size standard is $33.5 million. Contractors are required to be actively registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). The successful offeror shall be required to submit Performance and Payment Bonds (100% each) prior to start of work. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis, the pending solicitation or any follow up information requests. The solicitation will be posted to the FedBizOpps website on or about August 4, 2011. No hard copies of the solicitation, supporting documents, and applicable amendments, if any, will be provided. To receive the entire solicitation package and any applicable amendments, prospective offerors must download them from the FedBizOpps website. The contractor shall provide all management and project administration services, quality control, logistical support, vehicles, labor, equipment and materials to complete the project on time and on schedule. The scope of work is as follows: 1) mobilization of equipment, materials, supplies, and labor to and from worksite(s); 2) demolition & construction work (above & below water surface) involving turbidity fencing installation, earthwork and concrete work on a portion of an existing concrete boat ramp; 3) constructing approximately 75 lf of galvanized powder coated metal railings alongside said boat ramp; 4) modifying & adding approximately 55 lf of wood retaining wall near boat ramp pathway to dock; 5) replacing approx. 300 lf of sewerage forcemain (and appurtentances & connection piping) of an existing boat pumpout; 6) demolishing irrigation wastewater treatment pump (and appurtenances & connection piping) for spray irrigation application system @ WWTP and installing /constructing two wastewater treatment pumps, appurtenances, piping, fittings, floats, and control system for said system; 7) demolishing approximately 10,300 sf of walkway / sidewalk consisting of asphalt and / or geotextile chip sealed fabric and constructing approximately 10,500 sf of new asphalt walkway / sidewalk in the day-use area & near the boat ramp; 8) demolishing approximately 260 sf and constructing approximately 400 sf of concrete walkway @ two CG comfort stations; 9) demolishing approximately 72 lf and constructing approximately 72 lf of wood privacy fencing @ said CG comfort stations, 10) demolishing approximately 100 lf and constructing approximately 100 lf of fascia board @ said CG comfort stations, and; 11) demolishing approximately 122 sf of asphalt and / or concrete and installing / constructing approximately 122 sf of ADA/ABA concrete walkway (including associated underdrain & landscaping work) @ three entrances of the Pavilion.
