Description
PRPK 165877 Complete Design, Prepare Construction Documents, and Provide Construction Management Services for White House Visitor Center Rehabilitation The U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service, intends to negotiate a sole source, Architect-Engineering Services Contract with Smithgroup to provide A/E construction management services for facilities located in President's Park, Washington, D.C. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541310 and the size standard is $4,500,000.00. Smithgroup has completed the studies and design for this project and has the security clearances required for performing this project which includes Law Enforcement sensitive information. This acquisition is being conducted as other than full and open competition under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1). The subsequent contract will be negotiated in accordance with FAR 36.606 and FAR Part 15. The Government believes that the identified contractor is the "only one responsible source" as defined by 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) for the required Architect-Engineering services identified above. Firms believing they can provide the required services must provide supporting evidence in sufficient detail to demonstrate the respondent's ability to meet the stated requirements via submission of Standard Form 330, Parts I and II. In addition, the firm shall include evidence that they have the necessary security clearance for performing work at President's Park. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. All responses received within 30 days of the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses will only be accepted by mail to: National Park Service, Denver Service Center, Attn: Margaret A. Lemke, Contracting Officer, 12795 W. Alameda Parkway, P.O. Box 25287, Denver, CO 80225. Responses should include the completed SF330- Parts I and II, the firm's Dunn and Bradstreet number, identification of the firm's business size in accordance with the size standard, and evidence of the firm's security clearance for performing work at President's Park, Washington, D.C.. Type of Procurement: A fixed price A/E contract is anticipated.
