Description
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) has a requirement for contractor supplied laboratory testing and analysis services in support of the Office of Research and Development (ORD), National Computational Center for Toxicology (NCCT), Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. The contractor will use technologies aimed at profiling, in a multiplexed fashion, transcription factor activity in combination with varying cell lines and cell culture conditions, when performing these services. These services will allow for diversity within these families. Each assay, being either a mono- or co-culture system, will address multiple transcriptional factor targets within a single well. EPA anticipates the award of a five year Task Order (ID/IQ) contract. NAICS Code 541711 applies with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This is a total small business set aside. A draft copy of the Statement of Work is posted on website: http://www.epa.gov/oam/rtp_cmd/. A copy of the Request for Proposal (RFP) with SOW will be posted on or about the date the RFP is issued. Any supporting documentation and/or relevant information (if applicable) concerning this procurement will be posted on website: http://www.epa.gov/oam/rtp_cmd/. The RFP is expected to be issued November 2011. Proposals will be due approximately 30 calendar days after issuance of the RFP and it will be your responsibility to frequently check the same site where the RFP is posted for any amendments. Questions are to be submitted to McDonald Morrison, Contracting Officer, at morrison.mcdonald@epa.gov.
