- The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 11, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Leica Microsystems Inc, 2345 Waukegan Rd. Ste 300, Bannockburn, IL 60015, for preventive maintenance and repairs to various Leica Microsystems equipment at the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, 2215 Fuller Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48105. NAICS 811219, size standards $19 million applies. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 3:00 pm on August 1, 2011. No telephone or email inquiries will be accepted. All responses must be mailed to VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, Attn; Kristina Gandy (90CSC), 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105.
