Description
Replace Damaged Telecommunications Conduit Work includes but is not limited to providing all necessary supervision, labor, and materials to Replace Damaged Telecommunications conduit & Install Emergency Power Circuits. The work for this contract is located on the grounds of the National Park Service, National Capital Regional Headquarters (NCRO), located at 1100 Ohio Drive, SW, Washington, DC. Work includes but is not limited to installing approximately 400 LF of new 4" conduit. Utility locator services and directional drilling will also be required. The estimated magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. Type of award will be a firm-fixed price construction. The Davis-Bacon Act wage determinations will apply. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237130. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 19.502-2, Total small business set-asides, this procurement is 100-percent set-aside for small business concerns. The Small business size standard is $33.5 milliion. A small business concern is defined as a concern (including all of its subsidiaries) having less than or equal to $33.5 million annual average gross revenues of the total concern for the last 3 fiscal years. The solicitation along with attachments will be issued electronically and downloadable at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about July 28, 2011. No hard copies will be issued. To receive a government award, prospective offerors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov and complete Online Representations and Certification Application (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. A site visit will be scheduled for all interested parties with the time and date to be announced in the solicitation, Section L, clause 52.236-27 Alt 1, Site Visit (Construction). Responses will be due approximately 30 days following issuance of solicitation. Actual date will be established at the time solicitation documents are available. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.
