- This is a pre-solicitation notice for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to reroof the Kalaloch duplex building within Olympic National Park. The Kalaloch duplex is a flat torch-down roof. Work includes removing and disposing of existing roof covering, removing and disposing existing drains and downspouts, installing a new membrane roof system, installing new drains and downspouts, and installing various roof vents. This project is being solicited and awarded as a total (100%) small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 237310 with an associated small business size standard of $33,500,000. The magnitude of construction for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. An organized site visit will be scheduled at the time and place specified in the solicitation, Section L, clause 52.236-27. Offerors are welcome to view the exterior of the building anytime. Driving from south U.S. Highway 101, take the first turn after passing the Kalaloch Campground. Drving from north U.S. Highway 101, take the first turn after passing milepost 157.9. Kalaloch Ranger Station does not have a physical address, but the phone number is 360-962-2284. GPS devices may or may not work in this area of the park. Solicitation number P11PS82351 will be posted to http:///www.fbo.gov with a link to retrieve the solicitation form, clauses, specifications, wage rates, and all other associated documents at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about August 9, 2011, with a response date 30 days thereafter.
