- Description
- Searching for information on an aircraft wheel washer for use on C-17 and KC135. Machine should have a rotating brush that removes accumulated rubber on the bead seat area. Must be able to clean up to 30 aircraft wheel hubs of any size in an 8 hour shift. Needs to use a recalculating, hot alkaline solution that is sprayed on the wheel at high pressure to remove oil, grease and dirt. Machine must have the ability to turn, lift and move the wheel halve during the wash process. Requires a slurry blast stage that can effectively remove the carbon deposited on wheels fitted with carbon brakes. Requires automatic loading and unloading of the wheel into the wash area.
