- Solicitation Number: FA3010-11-R-0017 Repair Allee Hall, Phase 3 Notice Type: Solicitation Synopsis: The work performed under this contract shall consist of the renovation of 14,000 square feet of training and administration space located within Allee Hall. The renovations will include the abatement of all asbestos containing material in the existing corridor. The new interior partitions will be metal stud walls with conventional drywall and the existing concrete masonry block walls will be furred out with metal furring channels and conventional drywall. All rooms within the project will receive new carpet throughout with the exception of the restrooms which will receive ceramic tile. Existing doors will be replaced with solid core wood doors and new signage will be provided at all required locations. The existing air handlers and main duct runs will be re-used while new ductwork and air distribution will be provided within the classrooms, offices and storage rooms. The existing restrooms will be updated in order to comply with ADA and ABA regulations. New plumbing fixtures and hot water heaters will be provided where necessary. The electrical system will be updated to conform to the National Electrical Code and new fixtures will be provided throughout the project. A new fire alarm system will be installed as well as fire sprinklers throughout the entire Allee Hall second floor. This acquisition will be a 100% Competitive HUBZone Set-Aside with no geographical restrictions, utilizing Performance Price Trade-off (PPT) Procedures. Interested responsible HUBZone sources may submit a proposal. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220. The size standard is $33.5 Million. Magnitude of proposed construction is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The Solicitation Package, Specifications, and Drawings (if applicable), will tentatively be posted on the FedBizOpps Website: http://www.fbo.gov on/or around 10 August 2011 with a tentative closing date of 12 September 2011. The contract performance period will be 180 days from the Notice to Proceed. All Contractors wishing to do business with the Government are required to register in the DOD Central Contractor Registry (CCR) Database prior to any subsequent award. CCR Registration may be accomplished online at http://www.ccr.gov. Contractors are further advised that failure to register in the DOD Central Registration Database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. Recommend registering immediately in CCR in order to be eligible for timely award. The single source of entry for all documentation pertaining to this acquisition will be http://www.fbo.gov.
