Description
FREE FALL SIMULATOR MAINTENANCE SOURCES SOUGHT The Mission Contracting Office, Fort Bragg is issuing this Sources Sought Synopsis to determine the availability of potential business to perform quarterly maintenance, emergency repairs, and provide parts and materials for the Free Fall Simulator at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. There is no solicitation available at this time. This synopsis is issued in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. The conceptual acquisition strategy is to establish a Firm-fixed price (FFP) contract consisting of one (1) year and four 1-year options. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to seek capability statements from interested businesses. The Government will not award a contract based on this Sources Sought Notice, the information received, nor reimburse participants for information they provide. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR TECHNICAL OR COST PROPOSALS. This is a request for businesses interested in serving as prime contractors to submit a brief capability statement demonstrating how they could meet the requirements specified in the attached DRAFT Performance Work Statements (PWS). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333412, "Industrial and Commercial Fan and Blower Manufacturing" with a size standard of 500 employees. Submission shall be limited to no more than four (4) pages to address the DRAFT PWS. Information provided will not be used as a part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. Capability Statements should: (1) Briefly demonstrate your ability to meet the requirements specified in the DRAFT PWS as the prime contractor. (2) Describe your recent and relevant contracts performed within the past three years for the same or similar items required under the solicitation. Contracts may include those with Federal, State and local Government as well as private companies. Each reference must include the following information: contract number and contract dollar value; the contract period of performance; a brief description of the contract requirements; and the contract point of contact, telephone number, and facsimile number. Capability statements are due no later than 1 p.m. August 9, 2011.
