- Source Sought Notice ASL Interpreter Services for DLA Aviation This Sources Sought Notice constitutes a Request-for-Information (RFI) from potential offerors to identify organizations with the capability to perform this effort and to assess the competitiveness of the market. This sources sought synopsis is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for proposals. After review of the responses to this Notice, DLA intends to issue a solicitation. T his requirement is provide contractor support on an as needed basis as fluctuating needs arising throughout the year for qualified ASL interpretation services to enhance the current EEO Office full-time at the Defense Supply Center Richmond and provide ASL services to DLA Aviation forward locations. The vendor will be required to provide ASL interpreting: English to ASL and ASL to English. Additionally, demand may require Oral interpretation for deaf/hard of hearing (d/hh) employees who do not use ASL, or Tactile/Close-vision interpreting for deaf-blind employees. Interpreters need to be familiar with Department of Defense and DLA terminology. Please refer to attachment for further details.
