The breakwater is owned by the City of Ketchikan and operated by the US Army Corps of Engineers. The site is located in the tidelands. No structural rock may be disturbed. 6.The primary power to the WEF is being supplied by the solar panel system. KPU will provide back up to this system. Provide a compatible inverter that will automatically transfer from the existing solar system to commercial power grid. 7.Install meter base, cable connection and disconnect meeting the requirements of KPU. Locate on shore as directed by KPU. 8.Work shall also meet the requirements of the National Electric Safety Code, National Electrical Code, and FAA Standard 19d. 9.Submit selected cable, transfer switch, and convertor. 10.Submit sketch showing plan and proposed routing from KPU transformer to WEF and anchoring plan.
