- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) plans to issue a sole source purchase to Illumina, Inc., 9885 Towne Centre Drive, San Diego, CA 92121-1975, as the agency believes that it is the only vendor available to provide the listed below. CDC intends to procure products using the simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13, utilizing the sole source authority under FAR 13.106-1(b). The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811219. The vendor selected will provide: 1. GT-17-110-Custom Oligo assay (OPA)--2 2. GT-221-1111-- Goldengate Genotyping Universa--32, 384 plex Assay Kit with UDG, 576 samples -- 4 3. GT-221-1110-GoldenGate Genotyping Universal - 32, 384 plex Assay Kit with UDG, 96 samples -16 4. Shipping and Insurance--1 This notice is issued for informational purposes only. All interested sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Submit information to Priscilla Turner at pgt5@cdc.gov, Procurement Request Number 2011- Q-13754. No solicitation will be issued. If no responses are received, award will be made to the Illumina, Inc., 9885 Towne Centre Drive, San Diego, CA 92121-1975. This procurement will not exceed the simplified acquisition threshold. Award will be made under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) without further notices being issued. All responses received shall be considered by the Government.
