- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SUBJECT: W91ZLK-11-T-0272 (W81C5M1161241S) The U. S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Installation Contracting Division, 4118 Susquehanna Avenue, Aberdeen, MD 21005 intends to award on a sole source contract to Sturtevant Mill Company, 348 Circuit Street, Hanover, MA 02339 for the 7 day specialized milling of dry Sodium Bicarbonate. Agreement will include the milling fee, nitrogen costs and rental of nitrogen trailer with delivery, set up, and tear down fees included. Milling will reduce material to a product size of D50-2.03 microns using parameters established in tests and lab test reports determined during investigative process under development by Sturtevant and the U. S. Army PEO Aviation. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisitions Procedures (SAP) as only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. Sturtevant maintains the proprietary process under development for this requirement. Interested parties may identify their interest in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 03:00 pm eastern time, August 1, 2011. Telephone responses will not be accepted. This notice is not a request for completive proposals or a solicitation of offers.
