- This is a SOLICITATION not a pre-solicitation. Absolute Flux Gate Magntometers.Specifications: Flux Gate magnetometer minimum specifications:1.The output display must read in nano-Teslas (nT).2.The system shall have a frequency response using a low-pass filter with a 3 dB roll-off at 0.5 Hz.3.A certificate of calibration shall be provided, accurate to within + 0.2 nT.4.Use with external battery or with 12V house power which requires 2.1mm, 5A power connector.5.Include a switchable buzzer which tapers evenly to no buzzer at 50 nT.6.Push-button quick release disconnect between magnetometer and sensor with brass contacts.7.0.1 nT resolution.8.+/- 200 nT range.9.Sensor shall be compatible with existing USGS Theodolite mounts, and no larger than a diameter of 0.373 (9.56mm) x 3.040 (77.2mm) in length.10.Electronics compatible with existing USGS operated EDA sensors. 11.Operating temperature range from 0 - 40 C.12.Parts and service shall be readily available. Readily is defined as not be on planned obsolete list for 5 years from date of purchase.
