- Air Force Materiel Command (773rd ESS/PKA), San Antonio TX intends to release an 100% Small Business set-aside request for proposal for support services for Data Quality and Information Management (AFMOA/SGAR). The contract will result in a firm fixed price contract. The Air Force Medical Operations Agency (AFMOA) Data Quality (DQ) Program Office is responsible for providing direct DQ support to Air Force (AF) Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs), MAJCOMs, AFMOA Leadership and indirect support to the Office of the Air Force Surgeon General. DQ is vital to ensure information captured in our AFMS information systems is complete, accurate and timely. DQ is a very broad term; however, the primary context for this requirement is to help, via non-personal services, AF MTFs, MAJCOMs, and AFMOA continuously improve data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness to assure uniformity, reduce variance, promote standardization of information in our medical information systems across the AFMS. To accomplish this, the contractor will develop sustainable means to measure and monitor MTF performance, training materials and policy/system change recommendations to correct and prevent discrepancies/ improve timeliness and completeness, actually correct erroneous data or complete otherwise incomplete data where possible within the core AFMS information system, the Composite Healthcare System (CHCS). NAICS Code 541611 is used for this project. The Small Business size standard is $7,000,000.00. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR and have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE Code). All responsive offerors will be considered by the agency Contract will be awarded with a base period (27 Sept 2011 through 15 December 2011) and four additional one-year option periods. The awarded contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. The solicitation will be issued on or about July 20, 2011. This solicitation will only be available on the internet at the following address: www.fbo.gov and find the above mentioned solicitation number. The Contracting Officer for this project is Gregory Santiago. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small businesses firms serviced by the Small Business Administration. There is no geographical restriction on this competitive requirement. The short base period is necessary for the requirement and will not be modified
