- NASA Ames Research Center (ARC) is hereby soliciting information about potentialsources for the design, assembly, test and manufacture of pico- or nanosatellites.No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If asolicitation is released it will be synopsized in FedBizOpps and on the NASA AcquisitionInternet Service. It is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor these sitesfor the release of any future solicitation or synopsis.The document attached to this notice describes the information sought by NASA in moredetail. The document may also be accessed at:http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=D&pin=21- Reference numberNNA11SWARMSAT-L.Vendors having the capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements areinvited to submit appropriate documentation, literature, brochures, and references. Responses must include the following: 1) Company name, address, point of contact, phone number, fax, e-mail, and website (ifapplicable), number of years in business; affiliate information: parent company, jointventure partners, potential teaming partners, prime contractor (if potential sub) orsubcontractors (if potential prime); list of significant, relevant customers covering thepast five years (briefly describe relevant work performed, contract numbers, point ofcontact phone number, fax, email, contract type, dollar value of each procurement). 2) Indicate whether your company is a Large business, Small business, SmallDisadvantaged Business, 8(a)set-aside small business, HUBZone small business, Woman-ownedsmall business, Veteran-owned small business, HBCU/MI, Service-Disabled Veteran-ownedsmall business for relevant NAICS codes. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only, subject to FAR Provision52.215-3 entitled, Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes. Itdoes not constitute a Request for Proposal, and it is not to be construed as a commitmentby the Government to enter into a contract, nor will the Government pay for theinformation submitted in response to this request. Although all comments received willbe carefully reviewed and considered for inclusion in a later action, the initiators ofthis request make no commitment to include any particular recommendations. Any future solicitation and any documents related to a future procurement, if applicable,will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World Wide Web(WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
