Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is W912NR-11-R-0021. The solicitation is issued as a request for proposal (RFP).The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-32, DFARS Change Notice 20090115. This solicitation is 100 % set aside for Total Small Business. The NAICS code assigned to this acquisition is 238210 and small business size standard is $14 million. Award will be made as a firm fixed price contract. The purpose of this project is to have audio/visual equipment installed and programmed in four classrooms at the Hammond Municipal Airport Readiness Center. Interested vendors shall quote lump sum price for work; CLIN 1: Installation of audio/visual equipment, labor, and materials. Installation of equipment shall be in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations. All equipment shall meet or exceed required specifications. Refer to the statement of work for more details regarding this procurement, including what pieces of equipment is currently on hand and what equipment (name brand or like product) is needed. Equivalent equipment shall be subject to approval. Period of performance shall be completed no later than 15 September 2011. Site visits may be requested and coordinated through SSG Crystal Bonin 318-290-5982 or CPT Jonathan Maraggun at 318-290-5352 and must conclude before the deadline of solicitation. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999): (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. Award will be made to the responsible, responsive offeror whose offer will result in the best value to the government, technical specifications, price, delivery, and past performance considered.
