- Required SF-1449 RFQ 7/27/11: Solicitation Released Please do NOT call or send an email regarding this synopsis. Please monitor this website for the complete solicitation. Then submit a quote if you have date and space availability. SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT : The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) requires guest rooms, meeting rooms, and hotel services of a qualified hotel in one of the following states, Pennslyvania, Maryland, DC, or Virginia for the OCC's 2012 Manager's Conference. The conference is to be held during one of the following weeks, with a preference for a Tuesday through Thursday meeting space pattern : 2012 February 26-March 2, 2012 March 4 - 9, 2012 March 11 - 16, 2012 March 18 - 23, 2012 March 25-30, 2012 April 15-20, 2012 April 22-27, 2012 MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS : The hotel must 1) be compliant with the Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act of 1990, 15 U.S.C. 2201 et seq, (Public Law 101-391) and hold a FEMA certification number; 2) be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, 42 U.S.C. Section 12101 et seq. (ADA); and 3) have one of the following ratings: First class or higher per the Official Hotel Guide; three diamonds or higher per AAA; three crowns or higher per the OAG Business Travel Planner. HOW TO ACQUIRE A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION : The OCC anticipates issuing the solicitation through this web site no later than August 1, 2011. The solicitation document will contain the details of OCC's requirements, the instructions for submitting a quote, and how the quotes will be evaluated. THIRD PARTIES... If you submit a quote on behalf of a hotel, you must follow the instructions in Part IV of the RFQ. This is NOT a small business set-aside. It is a full and open competition using simplified acquisition procedures under the Commercial Item Test Program (FAR Subpart 13.5). All responsible hotels may submit a quote that will be considered by the OCC. OCC anticipates awarding the contract in October 2011.
