- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The California Army National Guard Yellow Ribbon Reintegration program has a requirement to rent a hotel conference room facility with catering, for the date of Saturday, September 17, 2011 in Anaheim, CA. The number of attendees is projected to be 700 people. This combined synopsis/solicitation notice is issued as a request for quote, and potential bidders shall carefully review the attached Statement of Work which includes all requirements that are needed for the event. Proposals and quotes will be evaluated on the basis of cost, and the vendor that can fully meet the requirements as stated on the Statement of Work, and at the best price to the Government, will be selected for contract award. Proposals must fully meet all requirements that are stated in the SOW in order to be considered. Simplified acquisition procedures will be used. All vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible to receive the contract. The following FAR and DFAR clauses and provisions are hereby incorporated into this solicitation: 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items; 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items; 52.204-7 Central Contractor Registration. Proposals are due by 2:00pm PST on Friday, August 26, 2011 and may be e-mailed to Jeannie.r.thornton@us.army.mil. E-mail submission of proposals is the preferred method, or proposals may be faxed to (805)594-6348. Late proposals not meeting the deadline date and time will not be considered.
