Project No. CZQZ080225, Replace Water Softeners, Fire Department, B158 at Cannon AFB, New Mexico Synopsis: THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A PRESOLICITCATION OR SOLICITATION - OFFERS OR PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR THIS NOTICE. This request is for information is regarding work to Replace Water Softeners, Fire Department, B158 at Cannon AFB, New Mexico. Questions regarding this project will NOT be answered. The contractor shall be required to provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment in order to perform removal and disposition of existing water softener system consisting of six water tanks and three brine tanks. Additionally, install new duplex water softeners system and tie into existing 2" water line and install appropriate piping and electrical components to assure a fully functional, operating system. The new water softener system shall be similar in kind to an Eco Water or Culligan product and obtain a water hardness after backwash under 40 part per million and install sampling point on discharge side of softener. Furthermore, this project shall also include the contractor to provide training to Air Force personnel for the operation and maintenance of the new system. The contractor shall comply with commercial and industry standards and all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and procedures. The estimated magnitude of this construction project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to research qualified firms with a primary NAICS Code of 238220 with a size standard of $14.0M, for a potential acquisition. Interested firms should submit, to the point of contact below, information regarding their company. Items to be identified in this request for information is any Applicable SBA Set-Aside Categories, company name; point of contact with address, phone and fax numbers, email address and relevant work experience with similar projects. Information should be submitted no later than 1500 hours (3:00 pm), Mountain Standard Time, Tuesday, 03 August 2011.
