Description
Work consists of repairing slump areas and slide. Cleanup, provide all material and labor to install geotextile drain tile system; furnishing and installing of culvert, borrow and aggregate. Odell Creek Road #1- Work consists of fill in existing slump with borrowed material and compact with equipment until the original road elevation is reached. Install drain tile system as shown on the drawings. Furnish and place aggregate on the disturbed area of the roadbed. Odell Creek Road #2 - Work consists of equipment rental to remove back slope slide, place material on fill slope in location directed by COR. Back slope to be sloped a minimum of 2:1, and 1' deep ditch to be reestablished. Trees on the slide will be removed and scattered on fill slope as directed by COR in immediate vicintity of slide. Beaver Creek Road- Work consists of fill in existing slump with borrowed material and compact with equipment until the original elevation is reached. Re-establish the ditch on the cut slope to a 2' flat bottom ditch. Furnish and install a 24" culvert and a drain tile system as shown on the drawings. Furnish and place aggregate on the disturbed area of the roadbed. East Fork Hanging Women Road - Work consists of furnishing and installing 12' extension to inlet of existing 24" Corrugated Steel Pipe (CSP), contractor to field verify the pipe dimensions. Shift road 3' north, borrow source is back slope 25' east of CSP, back slope to be 1.5:1 with 1' deep ditch, fill slope to be 1.5:1. Place 4" compacted depth scoria aggregate over new road location, scoria to be commercial source. Save stones on inlet side and place them to around new inlet section of CSP. Minor reshaping of ditch on south side of road. Beaver Pumpkin Road - Work consists of shifting road approx. 6' North for approx. 250' in length. Excavate existing culvert out and reset it in same location with 6' shift left. Use borrow material from cut back to build new road section. The project is located in the Ashland Ranger District, Custer National Forest, in Powder River and Rosebud Counties, Montana. Government est. - Between $25,000 - $100,000 Solicitation Issuance Date on or about August 1, 2011. Solicitation will be posted electronically.
