Description
YELLOW JACKET CREEK CULVERT PROJECT -- PAYETTE NATIONAL FOREST IN APPROXIMATELY 15 DAY'S, THE SOLICITATION FOR THIS CONSTRUCTION PROJECT WILL BE AVAILABLE TO VIEW AND PRINT. The intent of the contract is to provide for the complete construction of the project described in the contract. Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies and perform all work required to complete the project in accordance with drawings, specifications, and provisions of the contract. This Request for Quote consists of replacing the Yellow Jacket Creek Culvert on the Payette National Forest: This contract shall consist of the following work: 1) Install ROAD CLOSED signs on Type III barricades. 2) Submit an erosion control plan that will show the stream diversion plan. 3) Remove and dispose of existing 3' x 5' x 34' arch pipe. 4) Salvage rock for stream simulation material from the excavation. 5) Set and maintain survey control staking by referencing Government supplied control points. 6) Install new 12' x 20' precast open bottom box culvert 7) Place salvaged stream simulation rock to construct a natural stream channel. If additional rock is needed, the Contractor may need to salvage rock from the edges of the existing Forest Service roads within a 2-mile radius of the site, or from the existing borrow pit near Yantis ditch. 8) Backfill and place commercial aggregate surfacing on the new road. 9) Haul any excess material to the existing Forest Service borrow pit near Yantis ditch. 10) Seed disturbed areas 11) The work shall be carried out in accordance with the lines, grades, notations, and dimensions shown in the plans. LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION The project is located on Smokey Boulder Road 50074 at mile post 15.3. Drive North on Hwy 95 from New Meadows for 11 miles. Turn left onto FSR 50074 and drive for approximately 9 miles on 50074 to the Yellow Jacket Creek crossing. CONTACT BEN HIPPLE (208) 634-0760 FOR MORE INFORMATION.
