Description
This sources sought announcement is for information and planning purposes only; it is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. A contract may not be awarded as a result of this sources sought announcement. The US Army Contracting Command, Fort Dix, NJ, on behalf of U.S. Department of Defense Office of the Inspector General (DoDIG), has a requirement for software and maintenance licenses services for Defense Criminal Investigative Services (DCIS) personnel assigned to various locations. The DoDIG requires computer forensics equipment to support the agency mission. The required Software Toolkits/Licenses are as follows: 52 annual Forensic Toolkits 3.x Standalone Software Maintenance and Support licenses 1 annual Forensic Toolkit PRO 3.x Software Maintenance and Support license 1 annual Mobile Phone Examiner Software Maintenance and Support license 1 annual Mobile Phone Examiner Cable Maintenance and Support license A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type of contract is anticipated. The anticipated period of performance will be for one (1) base year and one (1) year option period. The proposed acquisition will commence by 1 October 2011. Contractor personnel will be required to provide services specified in conformance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and the Privacy Act of 1974 and strictly adhere to doctor/patient confidentiality requirements. In accordance with FAR Part 19, the government seeks maximum practicable opportunities for small business participation for this acquisition. Interested small business concerns that are qualified as a small business concern under NAICS code 541511 with a size standard of $25M are encouraged to submit their capability packages. Please submit capability statements (not to exceed 5 pages) for support services relevant to the Digital Forensics Software PWS. All contractors may submit questions to the draft PWS; however, all questions must be submitted no later than 2 August 2011 by 1:00 PM EST. A DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) for Digital Forensics Software and Support will be posted with this request for information. Contractors are responsible for all costs for submitting their capability packages. The POCs for this requirement are Grace Battle, at grace.a.battle.civ@mail.mil and Tyrone Worrell, at tyrone.c.worrell.civ@mail.mil. All capability packages must be electronically submitted to the POCs by 4 August 2011 by 10:00 AM EST.
