- The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to modify the existing contract #W81XWH-09-P-0576 to Com Tek Workplace Solutions LLC in the amount of $72,215.34 to add a new CLIN for additional services under option year two. The purpose is to a utilize a vendor who can furnish a "transition management" commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software product to support space management and move management requirements; prepare existing drawings for use in the software product, and implement the software product in the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support - Facility Management (DMLSS-FM) system. The "transition management" software product must be compatible with the existing Drawbase software product that is embedded within the DMLSS-FM system, a government-developed computer aided facilities management (CAFM) system. The vendor must show proof of their Army Certificate of Networthiness which is required in order for the "transition management" COTS software to be added to the network. Training on the COTS software must be provided by the vendor. In addition, the vendor must provide services to convert the existing Computer Assisted Design (CAD) drawings for the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infections Diseases (USAMRIID) replacement laboratory facility to CAD drawings that are fully compatible with AutoCAD version 2007 and Drawbase Version 6.4. Drawbase software is a proprietary software application that is currently embedded in and used by DMLSS -FM. The government does not intend to post a solicitation for this requirement nor is this a request for a solicitation or competitive proposals. However, if a company believes it could meet or exceed all the needs of USAMRIID for this requirement, it may submit documentation as such (i.e. a proposal, quote or capabilities statement) and any reasonable offer shall be considered by this agency. All responses to this notice must clearly indicate to the Government that pursuing competition in future procurements would be advantageous. If qualified sources are not presented to the Government by a response to this notice within 15 calendar days of the publication of this notice, then the existing contract to Com Tek Workplace Solutions LLC shall be modified. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. The Government reserves the right not to compete this requirement. Any qualified offerors must respond in writing via email within 15 calendar days of the publication of this notice to USAMRAA, Attn: Lisa Walters, Lisa.D.Walters@amedd.army.mil. Any responses received after this date and time will not be considered. Any response documentation received shall become the property of the government.
