Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The job site is located at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' (Corps) Warm Springs Dam / Lake Sonoma Project. The Federally owned project is located approximately 14 miles northwest of Healdsburg, California and is accessible via Dry Creek Road and Skaggs Springs Road. The Contractor shall procure and deliver all Riprap to the Boneyard area just beyond the Park Headquarters building. See Appendix 1 for a location map. Proposed work would include the purchase and delivery of 3,400 tons of 36-48 inch riprap for use in the Dry Creek channel for endangered Coho spawning habitat. The Contractor shall be required to a) commence work under this contract within 30 working days following official notice to proceed, b) prosecute the work diligently, and c) complete all work within 7 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. The time stated shall include final cleanup of premises. The contactor shall not begin the on-site work day earlier than 7:30 am and end later than 5:30 pm.
