Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.The solicitation number is A11PS00980 and is issued as an Request for Quotes.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-52. THIS IS TWO STEP PROCESS THE FIRST STEP IS THE POTENTIAL BIDDER WILL SUBMIT A DRAWING FOR THE OFFICE SPACE STATED IN THIS SOLICITATION. THE PROGRAM WILL CHOOSE THE DRAWING THAT WILL MEET THE NEEDS OF THEIR PROGRAM. THE DRAWING THAT THEY CHOOSE WILL BE THE FOUNDATION OF THE OFFICE MODULAR FURNITURE. ALL DRAWINGS SHALL BE SUBMITTED BY 10:00 A.M. (CENTRAL STANDARD TIME) FRIDAY, AUGUST 24, 2011.YOU MAY EMAIL YOUR DRAWING TO sara.watkins@bia.gov, or regular mail at Bureau of Indian Affairs, PO BOX 368, ANADARKO, OK 73005. If you choice to send by express mail it is your responsible to check the delivery times of this location. THE SECOND STEP THE COMPANY OF THE SELECTED DRAWING SHALL GIVE AUTHORIZATION TO USE THEIR DRAWING AS FOUNDATION FOR THE OFFICE FURNITURE AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. THEN WE WILL REQUEST A QUOTE FOR FOR THE PRICING OF THE OFFICE MODULAR FURNITURE FROM ALL OF THE POTENTIAL BIDDERS. THE FINAL CLOSING DATE TO SUBMIT YOUR REQUEST FOR QUOTES FOR THE OFFICE MODULAR FURNITURE WILL BE 12:00 P.M. (CENTRAL STANDARD TIME) SEPTEMBER 7, 2011. YOU MAY EMAIL YOUR QUOTE TO sara.watkins@bia.gov, or regular at Bureau of Indian Affairs, PO BOX 368, ANADARKO, OK 73005 Contractor shall provide the following services: IT IS REQUIRED THE CONTRACTOR PROVIDE A DRAWING for the new office furniture to include all employees and equipments section. On the drawings, you will need to label each cubicle with the employee's initials as following: For the Realty employees: 1)LC, 2)ET, 3)GB, 4)KL. For Human Resource Employees: 1) AB, 2)TA, 3)Vacant. You also need to label the equipment room on the drawing the equipment will consist of TAAMS Printer, Large Office Copier, Large Office Shredder, and desk printer. New Carpet - T&M Section The work consists of a Contractor to provide all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, and supervision required to perform all operations in connection with the purchase, removal and installation of carpet and materials. The contractor is responsible for disposing of the existing carpet. This is highly traffic area and carpet to be replaced should be comparable to the existing. A&D Room IT IS REQUIRED THE CONTRACTOR PROVIDE A DRAWING for the new office furniture. There will be two employees in this office. Contractor will be responsible of disassemble of existing workstations and transporting to a designated area. A contractor's meeting has been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 12, 2011. It strongly encouraged that all potential bidders are in attendance of this meeting. It is the responsible of the potential bidder to obtain and bring the equipment to obtain correct measurements of the office area. All questions relating to this acquisition will be answer at the contractor's meeting. Site Visit Location: Bureau of Indian Affairs, 1 mile North of Riverside Drive, Anadarko, Ok 73005. Contractor will be responsible of disassemble of existing workstations and transporting to a designated area. Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, tools, move, disassemble and assemble furniture and miscellaneous items. The work to be involved on each project/task can include, but is not limited to Heavy lifting, to include moving furniture (desks, file cabinets, contents of filing, boxed belongings, chairs, various other office materials and equipment). Contractor is responsible cleaning the areas in the result of the completion. All electrical work will be responsibility of Bureau of Indian Affairs, Southern Plains Region, Branch of Realty. The selected Offeror must comply with the following commercial item terms and conditions, which are incorporated herein by reference: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition; FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items - the selected offeror must submit a completed copy of the listed representations and certifications; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, paragraph (a) and the following clauses in paragraph (b): 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-13, 52.232-34.
