- ****ATTENTION****ALL FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE DIRECTED TO: Jennifer Weaver, Contracting Officer, email: jennifer.weaver@us.army.mil. No telephone calls will be accepted. PRON: AX1C0269AX; NOUN: Lever, Remote Control, NSN: 1560-01-326-7231; P/N: 114R3434-9; Quantity: 60 each minimum/180 each maximum; Firm Fixed Price (FFP) three year Basic + 2-100% Options type contract applicable to CH-47 with deliveries to Tracy, CA. Required delivery with First Article Testing is 60 each, 263 Days After Contract Award (DACA) and 60 each year until contract completion. The First Article Test Report is due 163 DACA. Required delivery without First Article Testing is 60 each 175 Days After Contract Award (DACA) and 60 each year until contract completion. This is a Small Business Set-Aside that is limited to those small businesses which are approved. This is a Critical Safety Item (CSI). This requirement is restricted to the approved small businesses: NP Precision, Inc. (CAGE: 3PQR2) & Olympic Tool & Machine Corporation (CAGE: 56811) because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source require acquisition of the part from the approved sources. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. WARNING: THIS ACQUISITION CONTAINS TECHNICAL DATA WHOSE EXPORT IS RESTRICTED BY THE ARMS EXPORT CONTROL ACT (TITLE 22, USC., SEC 2751 ET SEQ) OR THE EXPORT ADMINISTRATION ACT (TITLE 50, USC., APP 2401-2402) EXECUTIVE ORDER 121470.
