DESCRIPTION This is a Sources Sought Announcement only. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Palo Alto/Menlo Park Medical Center is performing market research to determine the interest of Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), Women Owned Small Business, and Small Disadvantage Businesses (8(a)) that can provide Degreasing/Cleaning Services of Interceptors at the Menlo Park Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 795 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025. This site is within the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 21) of the Department of Veterans Affairs. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to clean six (6) grease traps at VA Palo Alto Health Care System, Menlo Park Division, 795 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025. The grease traps are located in Buildings 329, 347, and 334. Period of Performance is for a period of one (1) year to commence on/about 1 December 2011 through November 30, 2012, with four (4) option years for renewal. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The NAICS Code is 562998 and the size standard is $7.0 million. All questions shall be submitted in writing to Leala.Jew@va.gov Interested firms fitting one or more of these Socio-economic categories should send their information by E-mail to Leala.Jew@va.gov no later than 4:00 PM Pacific Time August 5, 2011. Information should include the Name of the Company, POC name, phone numbers, email address, CCR/DUNS number, and indicate status i.e. SDVOSB, VOSB, Hubzone and/or Small Disadvantage Business. Information gathered will be used to gauge the Set-Aside. If any interested vendors have a current GSA contract for this type of service, forward the GSA contract information to the email address contained in this notice.
