Description
FSR No. 3006 M.P. 3.2 Culvert Replacement. The Olympic National Forest, Washington, intends to acquire by contract repair of Forest Service Road (FSR) No. 3006, at M.P. 3.2. The project consists of the following major items of work: mobilization; reconstruction of the roadway; removing damaged 30-inch culvert pipe; installation of new 36-inch pipe; clearing & grubbing; haul & placement of borrow material, placing riprap; seeding and mulching. This project is located on the Pacific Ranger District of the Olympic National Forest, Section 14, Township 30 North, Range 12 West W.M., near, Forks, Washington. Project site may be reached by traveling north from Forks on HWY 101 for approximately 12.0 miles to State Hwy. 113 (Burnt Mtn. Road). Turn left onto State Hwy. 113, proceed approximatety 5.0 miles to FSR 3006, turn right onto FSR 3006 and proceed 4.6 miles East to project site. Contract period of performance is from July 16, 2012, to October 15, 2012. Project Manager is Mr. Guadalupe Cisneros, 360-956-2353. The government will proceed to issue a solicitation as a Request for Proposals. This acquisition is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. Offerors will be evaluated on price, experience, and past performance. Contract award will be to the offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is the best value to the government. The government estimated value is between $50,000 and $100,000. No bid bond is required. If the contract price is less than $150,000.00, only payment protection is required. Davis-Bacon wage rates apply to any resulting contract. The proposed contract-type is firm-fixed price. This solicitation will be available on or about AUG 17, 2011. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the government. In accordance with FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the CCR on the part of the offeror will render an offeror ineligible for award.
