Description
Limited Source Justification The General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Acquisition Services (FAS) intends to raise the approximate ceiling limit on BPA #GS04T11DBA0015 which was negotiate on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(b)(1) with Honeywell International Inc., 13029 Danielson St., Ste 200, Poway, CA 92064 for the purchase various type task orders such as Firm Fixed Price, Time and Material and Labor Hour contract type CLINs to procure the Aviation Engineering Directorate (AED) Digital Source Collector (DSC) Engineering support services and incidental supplies. AED requires the contractor to provide professional/technical support services to include data analysis services technical support, cost benefit analysis, software modifications, component data analysis, Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) Data Warehouse support, seeding fault testing support, CBM Working Group support and technical support to field units utilizing proprietary Digital Source Collector (DSC) software and associated technical support for use in Army Aviation Apache, Black Hawk, Chinook, Kiowa Warrior, and other aircraft. Individual task orders will be issued under the BPA consisting of specific work to be performed by the contractor. All task orders shall be within the scope of the BPA and consistent with the terms and conditions. Honeywell International, Inc. is the only known source for 100% compatible on the software that they specifically develop. A complete justification for the proposed procurement is attached to this notice. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541330. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation package is available or to be issued. Interested firms that believe they can fully meet the Government's requirements may submit substantiating documentation and/or a capability statement in writing for consideration by the Contracting Officer. GSA is making preparations to increase the approximate ceiling on the Limited Source Justification to approximately $4 Million. The period of performance will remain the same from June 22, 2011 through June 21, 2012. Vendors that respond to this notice will be notified directly regarding the future competitive effort.
