The equipment being requested must be compatible in fit form and function with existing communication systems currently being used by Yuma Proving Ground AZ. Harris Corporation (DBA) Harris RF Communication is the only company that currently makes this radio for the military. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334220 with a size standard of 750 employees. Any award resulting from this requirement will be issued pursuant to FAR 12, Acquistion of Commericial Items-FAC 2005-53 effective 05 July 2011. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS.
