- The purpose of this market survey is to determine if there are qualified companies that can provide support to the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Air Traffic Organization (ATO). In response to this market survey, interested qualified companies are required to submit statements of capability as they relate to the attach draft Statement of Work (SOW). At this time the nature of competition has not been determined. Pursuant to the results of this survey, the FAA may decide to do a full and open competition, or set aside all, or part of the procurement for small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, or socially and economically disadvantaged business certified by the SBA as eligible for participation in it's 8(a) program. For purposes of this market survey assessment, be advised that the estimated value of this procurement is $8.5 M for a period of 5 years. The proposed contract type will be a five (5) year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type with a fixed price task order(s). The incumbent contractor is Northrop Grumman Information Systems (NGIS), and is currently performing these requirements under FAA Contract # DTFACT-07-D-00004, which expires in March 31, 2012. All interested firms are required to fill out and submit the Business Declaration form located in Attachment 1 and a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable.
