- Description
- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for project number: F11PS01371 for the Replacement of a Pole Shed Roof at Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge (NWR), Paris, TN. This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 36; Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts and an award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. A site visit is highly suggested. Instructions for the site visit shall be outlined in the RFQ. This roof will be repaired in accordance with the RFQ specifications and/or industry standards. The magnitude of this project is between $50,000.00 and $75,000.00. The NAICS code is 238160, size standard: $14 Million. The RFQ will be issued electronically on/about August 17, 2011 on the Federal Business Opportunities web site at http://www.eps.gov. The Response Date will be determined upon release of the RFQ. Questions or clarifications concerning any ambiguities in the solicitation shall be immediately addressed in e-mail form to gerome_jordan@fws.gov. Please include the RFQ number in the subject line of the e-mail. PLEASE DEFER ALL QUESTIONS UNTIL AFTER THE RELEASE OF THE RFQ. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any amendments/modifications to any and all documents.It is anticipated the following viewers will be needed to view the solicitation and attachments posted: Microsoft Word (.doc) and Adobe Acrobat Reader (.pdf). A firm-fixed price contract will be issued, with a performance period of 60 calendar days. Anticipated date of award will be on or about September 21, 2011. NOTE: In order to be eligible for award, prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and complete the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at http://www.ccr.gov.
