- The VA Heartland Network 15 is seeking to award a single contract for service to two bird aviaries. Contractor shall provide quarterly aviary service on the two (2) bird aviaries at the Eastern Kansas Health Care System. One (1) aviary is located at Colmery-O ™Neill VA Medical Center, 2200 SW Gage Blvd, Topeka, KS 66622, and one (1) aviary is located at the Dwight D. Eisenhower VA Medical Center, 4101 South 4th Street Trafficway, Leavenworth, KS 66048. It is anticipated that the contract period will begin on or about October 1, 2011 or date of award through September 30, 2012. The contract is anticipated to have a base year and 4 option years. This acquisition is set aside for 100% for Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 812910. The Standard Industrial Classification is 0752. The solicitation will be posted on or about August 2, 2011. The small business size standard is $7 million.
