- The Southern Region Contracting Office -West (Prov.) intends to award a sole source contract to Karl Storz Endoscopy-America, Inc., for the installation of Government purchased equipment, video equipment, (HD Video Equipment and Telescopes for the CoTo Tower, input and rear cable shields, H3-Z High Definition 3-Chip Camera Head, Thermoflat Kit, Xenon Light Source, Turret Adaptor F/Storz light source to Storzlight cables, Hopkin II 30 Telescope, 5MMx29CM). Installation of video equipment will be used in the operating rooms to perform all laparoscopic procedures, for The Department of Anesthesia and Operative Services at Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, TX. BRAC has utilized Karl Storz video equipment for the twelve (12) Boom Room Systems as part of the BRAC Construction project, and BAMC has invested a substantial amount in purchase of same units. Award will be made on or about 10 August 2011, the NAICS code for this procurement is 811219 and the standard size is 19.5M. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Proposal shall state if warranty on the installed Government Purchased equipment, will remain valid.
