- Contractor shall conduct pilot pesticide container collection event in the San Joaquin Valley of California to collect IBC's (Intermediate Bulk Containers and recycle them. Contractor shall offer an option to clean unrinsed containers and/or accept unrinsed containers for disposal. As this is a pilot project, contractor shall consider and present to USEPA ways to establish a more permanent, sustainable approach to collecting and recycling IBC's, and how this approach may be used in other parts of Region 9. Contractor shall interact and coordinate with related organizations, including the Western Plant Health Association, American Agronomic Stewardship Alliance, Crop Life America Stewardship Committee and the Ag Container Recycling Council to the extent possible to implement this project. The Contractor shall provide labor, equipment, materials in order to perform the work within the Attached Statement of Work. Period of Performance: September 26,2011 - December 30, 2011 The Contractor shall submit a workplan, not to exceed 10 pages, in response to this RFQ, with the price proposal. Contractor shall give unit price and the estimated number of units that could be used in this project as stated in the Statement of Work. The attached invoicing instructions and applicable contract clauses are made a part of this solicitation. All Questions are due by August 16, 2011 and price proposals are due by August 22, 2011, 9:00am PST.
