- Description
- This is a market survey for miscellaneous parts for the shelter program with nav/landing & weather. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting proposals at this time. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and 8(a) certified firms, capable of providing miscellaneous parts for the shelter program with nav/landing &weather. This market survey is also being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the competition among small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or 8(a) certified firms. Vendor needs to provide only superior, high quality materials/products, and maintain warehouse stocking levels to immediately address requirements. They must have the resources to overnight ship necessary products nationwide to meet critical needs. Additionally, possess the experience and knowledge to "know" what materials the shelter program requires without wasting precious resources, time and money. A part list is attached to provide an idea of the types of parts that will be required. The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 423610, Electrical Apparatus and Equipment, wiring Supplies, and Merchant Wholesalers, with a size standard of 100 employees. Interested firms are required to submit the attached Business Declaration form and a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable. In order to make this determination the FAA requires the following from interested vendors: 1. Capability Statement - This document should identify: Type of services provided by your firm, Size and type of services provided by previous contracts (elaborate and provide detailed information and past performance), Number of years in business Please respond by submitting a filled-out and signed copy of the Declaration form (please submit electronically, email to address below).
