Description: 1.THE FOLLOWING STATEMENTS WILL BE ADDED TO THE STATEMENT OF WORK: Provide all necessary design, installation, certification and testing of sprinkler system to accommodate planned design. Included in the evaluation and design of the existing HVAC the following requirements: Evaluation should include verification of existing system to adequately condition designed space as required. If it is determined that the system is incapable of adequately conditioning the space, provide additional capacity requirements to be included as a modification to the contract. Current design is a common return system, one main common return located in fire wall south corner. The intended design is for drop ceilings with individual spaces divided by gypsum walls. That being the case a strong recommendation is advised to provide a ducted HVAC return system and NOT a common ceiling plenum return design. This is preferred to provide the most effective and efficient HVAC systems. Individual spaces require designated VAV HVAC supply and control systems and ducted return air systems to optimize space temperature control. Include in the project a requirement to rebalance areas that are affected by changes to increases or decreases in CFM supplied to project area. A change to current CFM design in project area constitutes a rebalancing of affected areas served by A/C 1 BLDG 70. 2.DRAWINGS ARE ATTACHED TO THIS AMEMDMENT
