- Drawings SOW This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition procedures pursuant to the authority in FAR Part 13, and FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items (Title VII of the Federal Acquisition Act of 1994 (Public Law 103-355)). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; therefore a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number NB687030-11-04710 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This is a small business set aside request. The requested delivery date must be no later than September 30, 2011. The NAICS classification is 332999. The small business size standard is 500 employees. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Acquisition Management Division intends to procure a Custom Stainless steel Pressure Vessel. See the attached Statement of Work and drawing for details. The following clauses and provisions apply to this solicitation and are provided in full text, please see attached: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items. 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items. 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items Interested vendors capable of furnishing the specified equipment in this combined synposis/solicitation should submit their quote in writing to: Lenny Spakow, Contract Specialist at leonard.spakow@nist.gov.
