Tc-99m-DMSA 0-10mCi = 1 unit dose 8 12 unit The Vendor must hold a current unrevoked United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (USNRC); and/or FDA License; and/or a unrevoked license from a U.S Agreement State, to produce and distribute radiopharmaceuticals for human administration. Contractors of radiopharmaceuticals must incorporate sufficient lead and or other high-density metal shielding to comply with all applicable federal and/or state standards relating to the shipment of radioactive materials. This includes DOT, DOE, UNNRC, and ICC regulations and standards. As bio-hazardous and radioactive contamination is possible, these products are strictly regulated by the USNRC and the FDA. Per the Statement of Work, the vendor must have a distribution facility/pharmacy within a 50-mile radius of the VA Medical Center(s) to which they are bidding to be able to deliver within one hour of ordering, to meet emergency needs. The Solicitation is being advertised on an unrestricted basis, since Market Research has revealed that there are only three licensed firms with a pharmacy within a 50 mile radius of the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, University Drive Division, and none of them are small businesses. The Period of Performance for this contract will be for 12 months, with an anticipated award date of 10/01/2011. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued approximately 08/18/2011 on-line only through FedBizopps at www.fedbizopps.gov. Telephone requests will not be accepted. POC: Mr. Ronald S.
