- Description
- The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to operate and maintain installed equipment. The objective of this requirement is to provide a fully mission capable, high quality, VTC capable conference room for the Commanding General. AV system components provided by a previous contractor will be removed and relocated to a side storage room for operator's use. Pre-existing Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) will be reintegrated with equipment provided by the contractor. GFE will be integrated into the Command Conference Redesign. Contractor will provide additional AV hardware as necessary for this installation. All cabling will be plenum rated and will run above drop ceiling and behind wall where possible. The primary display will consist of: (2) Ceiling mounted front projection systems with ceiling recessed electric screens; Electric screens will be controllable via the AMX control system. At a minimum, the following is requested for installation: VTC camera ceiling mounts for (2) ceiling mounted cameras, microphone ceiling mounts and any other necessary hardware mounting equipment. VTC Cameras and microphone will controllable via the AMX Control system. Provide and Install wall mounted break out panel for the SMART podium. Break out panel will connect back to the AMX control system, located in the AMX control room. Provide and install digital sound processor with echo cancellation and complete matrix routing capabilities, additional amplifiers if needed to provide additional power for audio system, extra ceiling microphone if needed to provide100% audio covariance of the Command Conference Room, and audio teleconferencing device. All equipment required to control and administers Command Conference Room will be installed in the AMX control room, which is adjacent to the Command Conference Room. All rack mounted equipment will be installed in an additional floor standing mobile, securable equipment rack(s). Contractor will program the AMX control room system to meet client specification. All programming code will be handed over to the client upon project completion. Provide and install wired primary touch-panel, which will be located in the AMX Control Room. Touch panel will be programmed per the client specification. All programming code will be handed over to the client upon project completion. Provide and install a wired secondary touch-panel, which will be located on the head table. Touch panel will be programmed per the client specification. All programming code will be handed over to the client upon project completion. Any and all other equipment required should be supplied by contractor. Contractor should be available 7 days a week with two through four (2) - (4) business hour response time. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 541519 and the annual size standard is $25.0 million. This requirement will be a one time acquisition. Interested sources capable of providing the required services must respond by e-mail to leah.cabanilla@us.army.mil no later than 10 August 2011. This sources sought announcment is for information and planning purposes only and not to be construed as a commitment by the government, implied or otherwise, to use a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. An award will not be made on responses to this notice. This Sources Sought Synopsis is no a Request for Proposal (RFP); it is a market research tool being utilized to determine the availability of sources prior to issuing an RFP.
