- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being accepted and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation number is H92244-11-T-0222. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract is contemplated. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-53 effective 05 July 2011. This procurement is set aside for 100% Small Business. The associated NAICS code is 337910 with a standard business size of 500. The Defense Priority and Allocation System (DPAS) rating for this procurement is DO-C9. The Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWDG) has a requirement to procure the following: Section B Schedule of Supplies and Services The procurement is brand name (Tempur-Pedic) or equal. If quoting equal, must submit specifications with your quote for consideration. CLIN 0001 - Travel Set Mattress and Pillow, Color: Grey Velour, Qty: 150 ea. OPTION CLIN 1001 - Travel Set Mattress and Pillow, Color: Grey Velour, Qty: 75 ea. This option may be exercised within 1 year after the date of contract award. OPTION CLIN 2001 - Travel Set Mattress and Pillow, Color: Grey Velour, Qty: 75 ea. This option may be exercised within 1 year after the date of contract award. Section D Delivery Schedule The delivery date is to be determined (evaluation factor). FAR 52.209-1 Qualification Requirements (FEB 1995) FAR 52.212-2 EVALUATION--COMMERCIAL ITEMS (JAN 1999) (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers in descending order of importance: Technical, delivery and price. (b) Options. The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement. The Government may determine that an offer is unacceptable if the option prices are significantly unbalanced. Evaluation of options shall not obligate the Government to exercise the option(s). (c) A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the offer's specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award.
