Description
NOTICE: THIS IS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR 19.502-2. Project Name: Treat Bronze Sculptures and Plaques at Cabrillo NM. The Solicitation Number for this project is P11PS81323. The US Department of the Interior, the National Park Service, Pacific West Regional Office is soliciting proposals from qualified firms for a firm-fixed-price contract to treat 10 bronze components at Cabrillo NM. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 711510, and the small business size standard is $7.0 Million. Contractors must be currently listed in ORCA as a Small Business for this solicitation's NAICS code. Those offerers not listed as a Small Business for NAICS 711510 may be deemed ineligible for further consideration for award. This is a "Best Value" negotiated procurement. Selection will be based on: a) Demonstrated experience in restoration of bronze sculptures and plaques; b) Past Performance; and c) Price. The Solicitation and attachments will be posted electronically on or about August 9, 2011 at the following website: www.fedbizopps.gov. (See FEDBIZOPPS SEARCH, below). All Amendments will also be posted to this website. Responses will be due approximately 15 days following the date of posting of the solicitation unless extended. All qualified sources may submit a proposal, which if submitted in a timely manner, will be considered. Be prepared with your company's DUNS number, available from Dun and Bradstreet at 1-888-546-0024, and your Federal Tax Identification Number (TIN). All vendors should pre-register to save time, by logging onto the Internet at www.ideasec.nbc.gov, click on "Vendor Registration", "DUNS Query", and if not found proceed to "Add New Vendor." Follow all prompts. FEDBIZOPPS SEARCH: Once posted, the solicitation can be accessed through www.fbo.gov by searching for "P11PS81323", and then clicking on the link to the IDEAS-EC website. You may also access the solicitation by going directly to the IDEAS-EC website (http://ideasec.nbc.gov) and searching for it there. After clicking on the link that takes you to the IDEAS-EC website, click on the "Clauses and Attachments" link in the small blue box to access and download the project Scope of Work, clauses and provisions, bid schedule, and any other supporting documents. All offers must be received by the due date and time stated in the Solicitation to be considered for evaluation. Prohibition on Text Messaging and Using Electronic Equipment Supplied by the Government while Driving: Executive Order 13513, Federal Leadership on Reducing Text Messaging While Driving, was signed by President Barack Obama on October 1, 2009 (ref:http://edocket.access.gpo.gov/2009/pdf/E9-24203.pdf). This Executive Order introduces a Federal Government-wide prohibition on the use of text messaging while driving on official business or while using Government-supplied equipment. Additional guidance enforcing the ban will be issued at a later date. In the meantime, please adopt and enforce policies that immediately ban text messaging while driving company-owned or-rented vehicles, government-owned or leased vehicles, or while driving privately owned vehicles when on official government business or when performing any work for or on behalf of the government.
