Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs VISN 6 Network Contracting Activity plans to contract by means of other than full and open competition for the procurement of the Idaho Plate Method products to be delivered to multiple VA Medical Center sites. The Government intends to award a sole source firm-fixed contract for this requirement under the statutory authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, ˜Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements ™. The NAICS code is 446199 and the Classification code is 69. The suggested Vendor is Idaho Plate Method LLC, 4667 Chateau Street, Pocatello, Idaho, 83202-1721. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no solicitation will be issued; however, any firm that believes it can meet this requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the noted requirement, and must indicate the technical specification of their products, past performance information, price and delivery time. Responses are due by August 12, 2011 at 8:00am EST. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement and may be reviewed by Government technical representatives for consideration of future requirements.
